Party conferences shed little light on PRS plans
Both the Conservative government and Labour opposition held their party conferences this month. What did they say about their plans for the private rented sector and housing in general?

This year they competed in an Old School Sports Day challenge, featuring classic events like the sack race, the egg and spoon race, and more – and PayProp | Reapit’s Bernadette Sheridan was right in the middle of the action in branded Reapit kit!
“It was an honour and a privilege to take part in Do It For Dom and assist some amazing individuals to raise money for Huntingdon’s Disease,” says Bernadette. “Massive shout out and thank you to all my amazing colleagues and friends at PayProp United Kingdom and Reapit who supported me to raise money for such a great cause.”
Do It For Dom was launched in 2017 by friends of estate agent Dominic Subbiani, who had been diagnosed with Huntingdon’s Disease. By 2021, the event was so successful that they started their own charity to support Huntingdon’s Disease charities, help people in the property industry with physical and mental health challenges, and assist with home adaptations for families.
