Nurture leadership skills with NAR

Get your thought leadership out of your own head and onto the conference floor! The National Association of REALTORS (NAR) has opened registration for the 2022 edition of NAR Leadership Week.

On August 7-12 in Chicago, real estate professionals will share their perspectives at five “educational, motivational, and inspirational events” including the flagship NAR’s Leadership Summit.

Jess Biller, CPBA, President of Paramount Consulting Group and David Doctorow, CEO of Move, Inc./Realtor.com® are just two of the featured presenters.

Members of NAR can register now, and select sessions will be livestreamed and made available after the Summit.

Texas unearths “hidden gem” – SFM markets

On July 21, PayProp attended San Antonio’s State of the Market, which brought industry professionals together to discuss emerging trends in commercial real estate as well as “Texas’ Hidden Gem”, the multi- and single-family markets.

A panel of Texas real estate leaders, including Harry Adams, managing partner of McCombs Properties, provided their adaptive strategies for keeping up with demand in the hot housing market. San Antonio’s population is growing due to migration from other states and spillover from Austin, and the city’s workforce levels are rapidly approaching pre-pandemic levels.

Developers are planning more build-to-rent communities to account for this influx and to give locals more availability. Meanwhile, multifamily units will have to accommodate the increase of people working from home.
