Our story

PayProp, founded in 2004, grew from a rental payment platform into a global property tech company, expanding to the UK, Canada, and the US. It launched the PayProp Rental Index in 2012, secured investment from Accel-KKR in 2022, and merged with Reapit in 2023 to enhance services for estate and letting agents worldwide.

PayProp Rental Index

PayProp launches the PayProp Rental Index, establishing itself as the market authority on real residential rental transaction data.
2015

UK expansion

PayProp expands into the United Kingdom.
2017

Canadian expansion

PayProp expands into Toronto, Canada.
2019

US expansion

PayProp sets up a US operation in Florida and embarks on a state-by-state expansion.

AKKR investment

PayProp secures significant investment from private equity group Accel-KKR to fund its further expansion.

PayProp and Reapit join forces

Initiated by AKKR, PayProp merges with Reapit, another AKKR portfolio company, to deliver a more comprehensive service offering to estate and letting agents worldwide.

Steve is a dynamic industry expert, having worked with estate and letting agencies for more than 30 years. He joins from LSL Estate Agents, part of the UK’s second largest chain of estate agents, where he served as Chief Operating Officer since 2015. Prior to joining LSL, Steve had been Managing Director, Operations, at Countrywide Residential Lettings, the UK’s largest, award-winning lettings agency. Steve has a proven ability to guide, lead, mentor, and challenge in driving business forward.

Neil Cobbold

Commercial Director, Reapit

With a long background in sales, business strategy and change management, Neil works to develop successful businesses and sales teams in the UK property sector and champions property industry interests in UK public poliy formulation.

Peter Cox

Regional Finance Officer , UKI

Peter oversees financial strategy, planning, and performance across the UKI business and has played a leading role in building and establishing PayProp as a highly effective SaaS technology business serving the UK property sector.

Sugs has 25+ years in technology, leading and supporting large scale services teams, and driving strategic change and transformation programmes. His previously roles include leading the Professional Services and Support functions at LexisNexis Enterprise Solutions.

Stuart is responsible for our Customer Engagement strategy, leading the UKI Customer Success and Training functions and working to ensure that Customers can fully utilise the products and services available. Stuart has a strong, award-winning background in customer engagement strategy and stakeholder management. He takes pride in his ability to establish and develop long and successful relationships with customers.

Stuart Morris

Regional Vice President, Customer Operations

Stuart has strong property industry experience and was responsible for all group change at Countrywide, one of the UK’s leading property services groups. He has 18+ years’ experience leading major change initiatives and transforming operational functions, with a proven track record of building and leading successful teams.

Nick Tiley

Regional Chief Technology Officer

Nick has worked for Reapit in multiple geographies and across multiple products. He's built a deep understanding of the property industry and Reapit’s range of products and technologies. As well as contributing directly to the development of Reapit technology, he has also managed development teams in the UK and Australia.

Jan Davel is an admitted attorney and real estate veteran with multiple past directorships and chairmanships. Acting in an advisory role to business heads, Jan assesses risks and compliance challenges with the relevant laws and regulations and proposes solutions or actions.

General Manager – Sales, EMEA

Michelle Dickens supervises the Europe, Middle East and Africa sales teams, leveraging our existing business and igniting new customer acquisition efforts to accelerate PayProp's growth in these highly competitive markets.

Sarah Fourie

Sarah leads the South African team in delivering outstanding support and long-term value to PayProp clients. She brings over a decade of experience with the company, including five years as Head of Sales, where she helped drive growth and deepen client relationships.

Mark has 30+ years’ experience in enterprise technology, within diverse sectors such as enterprise application support, application development, SaaS, and business process management. He's held senior leadership roles at Rimini Street, a market leader in third-party support; Progress Software, a leading platform provider for developing and deploying strategic business applications; and LexisNexis Visualfiles, where he was responsible for driving many of the property industry’s data integration standards.

Steve has 20+ years’ experience in finance and operational roles at technology companies. His previous roles include Commercial Finance Director at legal intelligence provider, LexisNexis; and most recently Revenue Operations Director, EMEA and LatAm for Rimini Street, a market leader in third-party support.

Sally Lund

General Manager, Denmark

Sally has worked in the property industry for more than 20 years. Her unmatched understanding of PropTech innovation and customer requirements in combination with the trust of our customers has led Mindworking to its current position as the Danish market leader. She lives in Aarhus with her family. In the summertime, you will find Sally cruising with her husband and two sons in a customised auto camper.

Matt McGown

Chief Product Officer

Matt founded, grew and exited his own business in 2013. Since then, he's held various senior leadership and advisory roles, all focused on moving the revenue and profitability dials of technology businesses. His areas of expertise include product development; marketing; sales; onboarding and support; and management reporting.

Katherine Nisbet

Chief of Staff

Katherine brings extensive public and private sector experience in senior coordination and strategic support roles. She served as Principal Private Secretary to the Director of EU and International Trade at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, and worked in the Private Office of the National Statistician at the Office for National Statistics. Most recently, Katherine was Chief of Staff at electric vehicle charge point operator Believ. Katherine holds a BSc with Honours from the University of Stirling and a Master’s degree from Kingston University.

Dawson is a distinguished technology leader with over 20 years' experience managing global companies. He has held prominent roles such as CTO and VPE at DPD Group, Rolls-Royce, and EMBL, and Head of Engineering at True Corporation. His expertise includes innovation through M&A and R&D, technology architecture, risk management, and corporate strategy. Dawson excels in scaling operations, driving digital transformation, and implementing advanced technologies to optimise business performance.

Suzie Woodhams

Chief People Officer

Suzie has extensive experience in technology sector HR, where she has led mergers, acquisitions and integrations from a people perspective, working across organisations such as TelecityGroup (acquired by Equinix), Optivo (now called Southern Housing), and Pagero (acquired by Thomson Reuters). Suzie also serves on the Board and RemCo at AbilityNet, a charity that helps people of all ages with disabilities improve their lives using technology. She holds an honours degree in Psychology and a Fellowship in the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Hans Vogelberg

Chief Financial Officer, Reapit

A chartered accountant with over 20 years of experience, Hans leads financial strategy, planning, and reporting, drawing on a strong track record in corporate finance, fundraising, and international team leadership.

Jeff Wylie

Executive Vice President, Corporate Development & Strategy

Jeff is a chartered accountant with 30+ years’ experience within the technology, corporate finance and venture capital industries. He's held CFO roles at businesses such as Kana Software, an Accel-KKR backed CRM software business that was acquired by Verint Systems for over $500 million in 2014; and Meridio, acquired by Autonomy in 2007. He has also worked as part of EY and IBI Corporate Finance.

Mark Duffell

Based in Orange County, California and UK born and raised, Mark boasts more than 35 years of software and SaaS experience including his current role as CEO of isolved and his most recent role as President and CEO of Episerver (now Optimizely). He also held the position of Chairman of the Board, President and CEO at Kana Software, Inc. and was President and COO of Epicor Software Corporation. Mark is known for his operational expertise, strong financial stewardship, and importantly customer- and sales-centric leadership, having started his career in sales and never forgetting its critical role in customer experience and company growth.

Park Durrett

Director, Managing Director, Accel-KKR

Prior to joining Accel-KKR, Park was a Principal at The CapStreet Group, a lower middle market private equity firm. Prior to CapStreet, Park worked with Technology Crossover Ventures and 3i Group focused on originating and executing late stage growth equity investments in leading information technology companies. Park started his career in the technology investment banking group of Robertson Stephens & Company. He received his M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his B.S. from Cornell University.

Adrian Gill

Advisor, Chairman, Autoenhance.ai

After training as a Chartered Accountant, Adrian spent more than 20 years as a Director of the UK's largest estate agencies including Connells, LSL and Leaders Romans. Adrian is now Chairman of Autoenhance.ai, who use AI to enhance property photos. In addition, he is a non-exec Director for a number of other PropTech businesses, including Reapit.

Maurice Hernandez

Director, Managing Director, Accel-KKR

Maurice founded Accel-KKR's London office and has headed the firm’s European activities since 2010. Prior to joining Accel-KKR, Maurice was a member of Deutsche Bank’s Mergers & Acquisitions team. Maurice previously worked at Needham & Company where he worked with emerging enterprise technology businesses, Robertson Stephens, a growth sector focused investment bank, and Excite.com, a leading web services portal. He received a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.

Rob Palumbo

Director, Co-Managing Partner, Accel-KKR

Prior to Accel-KKR, Rob worked in the technology investment banking practice at Deutsche Bank and Stephens Inc. Rob started his career as a mergers and acquisitions analyst at Alex Brown & Sons in Baltimore, MD in 1990. He holds an A.B. from Princeton University.

Rachel Spasser

Advisor, Managing Director, Accel-KKR

Rachel provides strategic guidance and commercial leadership across Accel-KKR’s portfolio. Prior to joining Accel-KKR, Rachel was SVP and CMO for Ariba, Inc. (acquired by SAP). Before that, she worked in executive roles with cloud software and Internet-related companies including IBM and KnowledgeStorm Inc. With 30+ years' experience in general management, marketing leadership and business development for growth-oriented companies, Rachel has spent the past 25 years focused on the B2B technology sector. She holds an MBA with honors from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Johnny Van Siclen

Director, VP, Accel-KKR

Prior to joining Accel-KKR, Johnny founded EarnSmart and Zypae, two distinct payments focused technology businesses. Prior to EarnSmart and Zypae, Johnny was an Analyst in the Technology Group at Stifel and the Diversified Financials Group at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. While at Stifel/KBW, Johnny was involved in a variety of M&A advisory and financing transactions in the technology and financial services sectors. He received his B.A. in Economics and Environmental Studies from Amherst College.
